High volumes of sawn timber at Stockholm Norvik Port
Ports of Stockholm has expanded its services at Stockholm Norvik Port with a modern goods terminal and bonded warehouse. Currently high volumes of sawn timber are handled at the terminal, which is used for storing and transshipping a wide range of goods.

Two years of collaboration for a green shipping corridor between Stockholm and Turku
Over the past two years, Viking Line, Port of Turku and Ports of Stockholm have been working together to establish a green, fossil-free shipping corridor between Stockholm and Turku. The collaboration has resulted in a joint roadmap and several concrete advances in areas such as onshore power, electrical infrastructure and fossil-free fuels.

Ports of Stockholm can summarise a positive 2025. Freight volumes through the ports remained stable, with a marginal increase, while passenger numbers on ferries and cruise ships continued to rise.

Joint maritime traffic centre launched in Stockholm
The Swedish Maritime Administration and Ports of Stockholm have established a joint maritime traffic centre in Stockholm. Bringing maritime traffic management together in shared premises strengthens maritime safety, preparedness and coordination of maritime traffic along Sweden's east and north coast.

New dump bed improves stone handling at Stockholm Norvik
In the end of January a dump bed arrived by sea to Stockholm Norvik Port. Measuring 7.5 metres in width and weighing 34 tonnes, the dump bed represents an important addition to the port’s capacity for efficient stone handling.
