The archipelago services are a necessary, valued part of Stockholm’s harbour traffic. Ports of Stockholm’s task is to rent quay-berths for the archipelago boats, maintain the quayside and provide services to vessels such as electricity, fresh water and waste management.
Each year, and year round, several million passengers travel by boat to Djurgården, the Fjäderholmen islands, the islands in Lake Mälaren and to the archipelago.
