Low season*: 30 September to 28 April

07.00-18.00: Lockage when needed.
Other times: Lockage at 19.00, 22.00, 00.00, 01.00, 02.00 och 04.30 if it has been requested. Lockage must be requested at least 5 hours prior and must be confirmed 1 hour prior to passage, at the earliest the day before. Contact the Port and Traffic Control, phone +46 8 670 28 10.

High season*: 29 April to 29 September

07.00-23.30: Lockage when needed.
Other times: Lockage, when needed, at 00.00, 01.00, 02.00 and 04.30.

Vessels with an LOA exceeding 50 metres

Lockage must be requested at least 5 hours prior and must be confirmed 1 hour prior to passage, at the earliest the day before. Contact the Port and Traffic Control, phone +46 8 670 28 10.

Lock fee for pleasure boats

From Lake Mälaren to the Baltic Sea: SEK 320
From the Baltic Sea to Lake Mälaren: Free of charge
Season pass 2024: Can be bought in the lock for SEK 1,400

Note! No cash is handled in the lock. All payments must be made by credit card.
The lock fee for pleasure boats is inclusive of VAT.

For safety reasons passage for small crafts – kayaks and canoes – is free of charge. Other ships, see above.
