Port security

Safety is an important aspect of all of the operations of Ports of Stockholm. This means protecting against and being prepared for undesirable incidents and the damage that these can do to people, property and the environment within the areas of responsibility of the City of Stockholm.

Important elements in our safety measures include preventive action and assessment and knowledge.

It is the vision of Ports of Stockholm that our safety work should result in tangible and perceived safety and security for our employees, customers and others who visit or work within Ports of Stockholm areas. The following areas are identified as priority areas:

• Preventive measures
• Human life and health are our highest priority
• Training and performing drills
• Principles of responsibility, familiarity and proximity for crisis management
