Johan Castwall becomes new CEO for Ports of Stockholm

Johan Castwall, the current SISAB CEO, will take over as the new CEO at Ports of Stockholm.

Forty-seven year-old Castwall has extensive management experience from his career with the City of Stockholm. His previous positions have included Head of Public Relations for the City of Stockholm Traffic Office (Parkerings AB), Director of Development for Stockholms Stadshus AB (the parent company of a group of subsidiaries owned by the City of Stockholm), as well as the post of administrative head of the City of Stockholm's previous sanitation management services.

"Johan Castwall has profound competence that will further consolidate the work of Ports of Stockholm within our major projects and in developing freight and passenger traffic while maintaining our focus on the environment" says Helena Bonnier, Chair of the Board of the Ports of Stockholm subsidiary company Stockholms Hamn AB.

"Ports of Stockholm will face a number of major challenges over the coming years. In addition to continuing the positive development of port operations, the group will also make a number of large investments. My ambition is to work in a goal-oriented manner with these issues in close cooperation with my colleagues at the ports, but also in collaboration with others in the city, such as customers and external partners," says Johan Castwall.

Johan Castwall will take up his post on 15 April this year. Henrik Widerståhl will then return to his permanent position of Deputy CEO and Head of Marketing.
