1 100 000 length meters of goods have been handled during the period January-September 2015. More cargo than ever before is moving through the Port of Nynäshamn with the roro- and ferry lines Stena Line, Polferries and Destination Gotland.

Stena Line calls Ventspils and Liepaja from Nynäshamn. They have had a remarkable volume growth the last few years. Thus increasing the total volume through the port significantly.

Polferries have also stepped up their operation by shifting to a vessel with larger freight capacity between Nynäshamn and Gdansk, which has resulted in sharply growing volumes for them as well.

Destination Gotland has stable volumes, bringing passengers and cargo between Nynäshamn and Visby.

"We are very happy to have these reputable and consistent shipping lines calling our port and it is satisfying to see the stable volume growth this year", says Markus Johansson, Technical Operations Manager Port of Nynäshamn.

The excellent location of Port of Nynäshamn, close to the Stockholm region enables import and export volume to be moved by water very close to and from Sweden's major consumption area.
